Welcome!

Free Ice Cream Fridays

Loop Church is giving away free ice cream cones on Friday nights from 4-7 pm at the Bedford Dairy Queen.  This past Friday was our first time doing it and we had a great turn out.  It was such a great way to introduce ourselves to the community.

The workers

We both had spit up and drool all over our shoulders.  I'm sure that was attractive.  Hehe!

All good times have to end with a good cry

Silliness

Anyone who knows my husband will not be surprised in the least to see what he was showing Reagan in the Kid's Consignment store.  As I was looking for practical things, Matthew and Reagan ventured off and this is what I found them doing.
One thing is for sure. . . they sure will have fun together when he gets older.

Nice gun with ammo

A nice shiny sword

Finally. . . something Mommy approves of

Some fun this afternoon now that it's finally warm out again.  Loving his new sunglasses from the Easter Bunny (Nana).  They have a strap that velcros in the back.  So cool ! ! !

Back from the walk - hot and sweaty.  Being silly : )

One thing is for sure. . . Reagan and I need a tan.

Reagan, you're a little too close for comfort. Haha!

On another note, I absolutely positively HATE to be tickled and I have always told Matthew he can tickle me at his own risk; so needless to say, this is what happened.  Sorry babe for the pinch ! ! ! !

April Fun

Reagan got to stay up late last Saturday night while we had friends over.
He loved hanging out with the "big boys."
"Uncle Jay, you're so funny."

Babies are always the center of attention - - even in a room full of men. Haha!

"Mom, can I hang out with the 'big boys' all the time - -
I mean, after all, I can hold my bottle all by myself now."

Today's church outfit.  Had to drag the winter clothes back out.

Snuggling with Daddy during the sermon

Of all the toys around him, guess which is his favorite. . . .
the water bottle.  Go figure.

I decided to put Maggie in Reagan's crib for the first time ever, on a blanket of course.  Maggie wanted out immediately; however, Reagan loved the company.

"Yo Yo Yo. . . What's Up, Dawg"

"I'll be right back, Homey.  I have to take a quick nap."

Loving solids. . . . especially strawberries.

"That's all for now, folks."

Christmas in April

We woke up to a picture message from Grandpa in Syracuse of the snow that they got overnight.
Burrrr. . . .

It wasn't much warmer here, though, so Reagan wore his Christmas sleeper for the first time ever.  One of my mom's customers got it for him before he was born.  I don't think she thought about the outfit actually fitting him at Christmas or maybe it was just on the sale rack.  Either way, I'm happy to have it.  I NEVER let a piece of clothing go to waste.  For the first month of his life he wore a onesie that said Babies 1st Thanksgiving, yet he still hasn't had his first Thanksgiving.

Playing with his sock monkey for the first time.  It is as long as him.

Just last week, Reagan started becoming interested in Maggie.

This is about as close as Maggie will cuddle with him.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.

But first. . . . . . let me chew on my wipes box. Haha :)

Milestones

Reagan has grown so much, especially recently.  I often find myself saying "Where did my baby go?  I have a big boy."  I wanted to record all the changes I have seen him make,
so here goes. . . . .

He finally LIKES to be on his tummy for tummy time! ! ! Hallelujah! ! !  I couldn't help myself but take a trillion pictures of him smiling on his tummy, because I'm used to immediate screaming.

BEFORE

NOW

And of course. . . everything is more enjoyable if there is a mirror around.

He is also no longer happily playing on his activity mat, but rather spending the entire time trying to pull himself up to a sitting position.

Teething has begun.

He likes to play with a burp cloth on his head. Haha!  I did this as a kiddo, too.

He gets to sit in the stroller like a big boy now.

I just found this jumperoo at a yard sale today for $7. He loves it, which means I love it, because that means more hands-free time for me.  Woo Hoo! ! !

He loves story time with daddy. He wants to turn the pages himself so badly,
so needless to say, several pages are already crinkled.

He is finally wearing shoes and outfits.  No more comfy sleepers all day long.  The shoes are the smallest size you can buy; however, this picture makes them look a foot long. Haha!

Sitting up so straight, with support, of course

He has just started turning completely around while I'm changing him to stare at the wipes box.
Now, I understand the reason for the strap.

I love you, Reagan! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you for all of your new accomplishments!
