- Jay & Sarahann Cagle moved down from Syracuse the Tuesday before Thanksgiving to attend graduate school at Liberty University. Mom & Dad (Dan & Cindy Schallmo) came with them to help them move down.
- Jonathan, Lindsay & baby Connor Schallmo came up from Charlotte, NC to have Thanksgiving at Sarahann & Jay's house. We had a blast!!!
- Kelly was supposed to deliver the day after Thanksgiving, but didn't. We were hoping that the NC Schallmo's would be here for the delivery, but couldn't stay.
- Terry Cope (Kelly's Dad) came from Crossville, TN came on Sunday the 27th (I think). Terry stayed through Saturday, Dec 3rd. He did dozens of winterization projects around the house for us. Thank you Dad!!!
- Anne Stout (Kelly's Mom) came in a dash on Monday afternoon from Crossville, TN and arrived late in the night. Anne was ready for weeks for the call. She stayed one full week to help us settle with Reagan after we left the hospital. Thank you Mom!
- Cindy and Dan Schallmo (Matthew's parents) left on Wednesday Nov 30th one day after Reagan was born. They were in town for 8 days waiting for Reagan to come. Thank you Sarahann and Jay for housing Mom and Dad. Guys, thank you for staying so long!
- One day after Anne left, Cindy (Matthew's Mom) came back to help Kelly when Matthew returned to work. Cindy stayed until Saturday, Dec 10th (5 wonderful days). Thank you for all the help Mom!!
Eight years ago, I met the love of my life in a cafeteria at Lee Univ. Five years ago, I married him. Ten months ago, we found out that we were expecting our first child. Twelve days ago, we got to meet our son. Join Matthew and I in our journey as new parents to our first-born son, Reagan Cope Schallmo. God has graciously given us this beautiful bundle of joy to raise and nurture. Whoops...I forgot to mention our dog Maggie. Her world has imploded since Reagan came on scene. - Kelly 12/12/11
Welcome!
'Unforeseen Expectations' is a blog documenting the life of the three Schallmo's: Kelly, Matthew & Reagan.
We have a new addition to the family. Our first-born son, Reagan is our most recent unforeseen expectation of God's blessings. Join us on our journey...we don't know what to expect.
