Welcome!

Happy Easter!

Happy 1st Easter to my baby boy! We drove to Moneta for a church plant Easter service.  It was their first service ever!  Then, we went out for lunch where we got to sit out on the patio under the beautiful sun.

Nanny had this hat in Reagan's Easter basket.  He only takes it off for naps : )

Then, we headed over to Smith Mountain Lake to visit Sarahann, Jay, Ashley, and Jimmy while they were camping.  It was such a gorgeous day! !

One of Nanny's customers made this cute onesie for Reagan!  He is so blessed with stuff from people that never have nor never will meet him.

Guys doing what guys do :)

"Don't let that football go into the water!  It's brand new!"

"Uh oh! Matthew, are those your clothes ! ! ! !"

Ha Ha! Success! . . . And looking good : )

Poor Reagan lost his blanket.

Thanks, guys, for letting us come visit.  We had a blast!  Happy Easter : )

Visit From Superman

Early this morning, Matthew and I had a visit from Superman.  I snuck my camera out from the nightstand and managed to get some pictures of the once in a lifetime event.  Enjoy; however, try to overlook the disheveled bedroom, ugly mustard colored walls, and 1980s comforter. He caught us off guard or else we would have had the house in ship shape condition.  Haha!

"Wake up!!"

Oh shoot!  Superman caught me taking a picture.

"Just one more, sir!"

"Ma'am, I thought I said no pictures!"

"Well, folks I am in a hurry and must take off!
Do you think you could give me a bottle before I head out?
Hold on, let me get my bib out of my back pocket."

P.S. Thanks, Katie Smith, for the outfit!! LOVING it!

Easter Egg Hunt

Matthew and his boss are starting a church plant in Bedford called Loop Church.  If you are a Bedford local, then you will know where "the loop" is.  It will be a very casual walk-up outdoor church every Saturday at 5:30 p.m. . . strollers and pets welcome :) So, today was their big kick-off event at Liberty Park to introduce the church to the community.  The turnout overwhelmed us all! !

Bounce Obstacle Course -- a HUGE hit!

Egg on a Spoon Maze

Body and Face Painting

A raffle to win the BIGGEST Easter basket EVER! ! !  (Looks more like an Easter stocking. LOL)

They even had dogs and babies holding up fliers for Loop Church. Haha!

"Daddy, how much longer do I have to hold this?"

Egg Hunt. . . . On your mark. . . get set. . . .

GO ! ! !

Some leisure time when the event was over.  Great job, Matthew, for all your  hard work! ! !

Can't wait until Saturday's first service :)  Plus, my mom arrives that day to spend Easter with us!
Woo Hoo!

P.S. Check out Matthew's blog (when he writes it) because it will have more detail about the church :)

Cirque du Soleil

Matthew's boss was kind enough to bring along all his staff and families to Roanoke for the day.  The plan was to eat lunch at Hotel Roanoke and then watch the Cirque du Soleil performance.  I had watched one other Cirque du Soleil performance and loved it, so I could not wait for this one.  It was AMAZING!!    I would highly recommend it while it's still in the area!

We tried to bring these in, but the man who went through my purse at the door said I couldn't, so Matthew and I hid them in a bush and then got them after the performance.  They were nestled safely where we left them :)

Intermission. . . . a.k.a. popcorn and peanut brittle break.  Matthew had wrapped a bunch of peanut brittle from Hotel Roanoke in a napkin, so we got to sneak something in after all. Haha!

Sporting my new Maui Jim aviators that Matthew got me for my birthday:)

And of course. . . . I was texting Sarahann (our babysitter) ALL day checking on Reagan.  She sent me these cute pictures to ease my mind.

Yah!! Reagan and I both survived our first day apart!  I missed him a TON but LOVED spending time with Matthew, just the two of us:)  Thank you so much, Sarahann for allowing us to have an awesome day out!  We love you.  XOXOXO

4 Month Check-Up

Oh how the time has flown! My baby is 4 months old already. Now, I'm starting to understand when people say that you blink and your babies are all grown up. The doctor was running behind, so thank goodness Daddy was there to keep Reagan company.

A family picture in the office. I LOVE my family more than words.

The doctor was making sure he could hold himself up when on his tummy. He passed the test!
14 lbs. 25 inches

Poor guy was a trooper through his shots.

We got the go ahead to start introducing him to solid food anytime, so we wasted no time. He had his first banana and seemed to like it:). Here is a video clip of his first spoon feeding if you are bored out of your mind. Haha!

One last picture of his band aids on each leg :(
Thankfully, his shots have never caused any sort of a reaction. He never skips a beat!
