My first Mother's Day was the best day ever! Matthew surprised me by letting me sleep in and then woke me up to a dozen roses and a homemade scrapbook. Anyone who knows me knows that I am more about sentimental gifts than store bought ones, so he did GREAT! ! !

This describes him so well. . . . . always on the go. He barely sat still long enough for this project.
Then, Reagan handed me a certificate with another precious handprint.
Matthew also wrote me the most beautiful letter in our journal that we write to one another in. The day was more special than I could have ever imagined.
Another awesome gift is that Mom and Dad Schallmo came down to visit for the week. For Mother's Day, we all headed to a trail for a nice, relaxing walk.
Matthew picked out Reagan's outfit so that they would match - - plaid shorts and a blue shirt
We ended the day with a nice dinner at Hibachi's Buffet. Reagan was sticking his tongue out at all the people around us. Hehe!
