Welcome!

'Unforeseen Expectations' is a blog documenting the life of the three Schallmo's: Kelly, Matthew & Reagan.

We have a new addition to the family. Our first-born son, Reagan is our most recent unforeseen expectation of God's blessings. Join us on our journey...we don't know what to expect.

Hitchin' a Ride to Tennessee

Nanny came to visit us for a short weekend trip! The trips are never long enough, but we will take what we can get!!  As you can see, someone is a bit jealous of Nanny giving all of her attention to Reagan:)

We also got our first snow of the year!!

We had so much fun with Nanny that Reagan and I loaded up and road back to Tennessee with her. So proud of what a good boy he was for the entire trip:)

Reagan got to see Kinley who is only a few weeks younger than him.  "Reagan, you're not suppose to hog the entire picture.  That's rude. Haha!"

Danielle even stopped by after work to give him a bottle:)

This is one true couch potato!!

Love the foot rattles!! He is so fascinated by them.

Reagan got to spend a lot of time with his Pa:)

Watching basketball games....Go VOLS!!

Walking around the house...with a little help:)

 Nana also enjoyed our visit!

I wanted to surprise Matthew with a whole new look when I returned so we headed to the salon!  This was a before shot.  "Poor Reagan, you're not alone.  Being at the salon ALL DAY will tire anyone out."

Then...

Next, Mama foiled some Mocha throughout:)  I promise it's not purple even though it looks like it in this picture!!

The finished product with a new nose ring!! The ring is really not black.  It's from the black sharpie that was under the stone.  Getting it done was not nearly as painful as the week after!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Matthew LOVED it and that made it all worth it:) :)  A new look for a new mom.

And of course, one more picture of my little man before we left.

My dad said that if we rode down with my mom, then he would drive us back whenever we were ready! Sounded like a great deal to me:)  We stayed a week and two days...until we couldn't stand being away from Daddy any longer.  It was a great trip, as usual!!
